So the people who want their pet dogs can not avail that joy.

But in many cases is has been seen that many dog breeds do not start any kind of reactions do these people or if they do then it does not happens very frequently. These specific dog breeds are called hypoallergenic dog breeds. These dogs have properties that make them fit for the people with allergic reactions. Many researches have proven this point that some specific dogs initiate less allergic reactions in humans.

However, many researchers do not believe in that kind of theory. They say that there is not any specific kind of breeds that are hypoallergenic. But some dogs do have this quality. They believe that the reactions are caused by the proteins that are present in dogs and when they sweat through the skin there proteins cause the reactions. So there are some specific dogs who do not cause the allergic reaction not the specific breeds. Because every dog sweats and urinates.

Whatever the reason maybe. It is proved that there are some dogs that do not cause reactions in the humans.

Many scientific researchers have found that the dog breeds who shed less hair are more likely to be hypoallergenic. There is a theory behind this. According to this theory the dander and the saliva which can cause the allergic reactions in the humans is not released in the environment. Because of the hair, the saliva and dander remain stick to their hair. Therefore they do not cause any type of allergic reactions in the humans.

There is also a very big hand of the size of the dog in its hypoallergenic quality. Smaller dogs have a less surface area. So they have less number and kind of the bacteria and pollutants on their body. The bigger dogs are more prone to catch these bacteria since they are bigger in size. Because of this the smaller dogs are often the hypoallergenic.
